Petco use cases Use Case

# Name Description Oracle Answers

1 Recall/Withdrawal Describe how RMS can handle Recall/Withdrawal processes including sending messages to block sales at POS.

on item_loc_traits there is a stop_sale_ind that sends this down to the POS

2 POG Replenishment

Today Blue Yonder CKB sends POG/floorplan information to Polaris where a custom program is used by the inventory team to "attach them in replenishment". This whole process needs to be resdesigned with the business and we need to determine if RMS is a potential fit. see diagram

3

Delivery Schedules/Store Direct Parameters

Relex requires order generation and delivery schedules as master data from the source system. Today this flows from Polaris > RMS > Relex. Need this to fully live in RMS. Define in MFCS

4 Transfer Consolidator

RMS receives order proposals from Relex and consolidates with staged special requests coming from our store order dashboard and also are upload utility (MUT). Need a replacement for this. See diagram

5 Mass Upload Tool (MUT)

Need the capabitlity for multiple uploads that all WAC changes, PO creations, store/item list creation, etc. Need to get full list.

Items, Orders, deals, replenishment, item lists APIs for WAC adjustments, stores, etc Updated item list creation as well as the ability to rebuild it nightly based on criteria

6 TMS/WMS Integration and Transformation

Need a replacement for this: Transfer processing. For non-ecom transfers, Polaris 1) Sends/received TMS data 2) Sends transfers to WMS for fulfilment 3) Processes shipping data and sends it back to RMS. 4) Creates control/transfers (LPNs) and sends to PetConnect for receiving

use the APIs available out of the box.

this is where OCI with Integration Cloud

7 Custom Screens Demonstrate how we can develop custom screens APEX with the RDS data would be one place. If the requirements warrant it, then use OCI

8 Item Ranging Explain how RMS works for item-location ranging for POs and transfers intentional ranging process

9 Annual Merchandise Hierarchy Reclass

Explain how this works - today we are constrained to not have any open stock counts and future cost batch takes days to run

Physical stock count has to be completed if it is in process during the reclass. Reclass was rewritten and much improved performance. Purging and archiving were also updated to aid in the reclass Future cost enhancements made, can be ad hoc 29 Copyright © 2023 Oracle and/or its affiliates

Replenishment potential flow

POG MFCS Relex

• Item is placed on POG

• Create export to MFCS

• Ingest POG details to start replen setup

• Add delivery schedule

• Finalize replen setup

• Export to Relex

• Generate forecast

• Create the ROQ/demand quantity

• Export to MFCS

MFCS

• Generate Order or transfer • Include Store Orders in

addition to ROQ • Apply rounding, case pack • Send order, transfers

Gaps in observability and management solutions are creating challenges for enterprises

<15% “Fewer than 15% of organizations will

implement holistic monitoring, putting $255 billion of investments in cloud-

based solutions at risk, by 2021.”

Gartner: “How to React to the Impact of the Cloud on IT Operations Monitoring” Refreshed February 2020; Published August 2018

75% “Organizations view their IT

environments as more or significantly more complex than two years ago”
